the first poem i wrote with the intention of it being a song. it all started with "some-some, getcha some of me", that evolved to....someone, somewhere, something. but it couldn't just be anyone, no, they had to have that some-some - and that is different for everyone, it's just some kinetic thing that draws you to each other...like two magnets that flip, you connect and there is no stopping the force.

This page plays the 2026 remix: fuller sound, clearer vocals, same melody, same story. Want to hear where it started? Here is the original 2024 recording from the classic Luminosity.
some kinetic thing
Someone, somewhere
Something in you
Maybe it's the magic
Or maybe it's the thrill
Maybe it is you who makes it real
Maybe it's really how I feel
Waiting for you to open your eyes
Waiting, breathless
Waiting, hopeful
Wait, Wait
Waiting
Wanting
Wondering
For
Some kinetic thing
Some magnetism
Some desire to sing
Yea, someone, somewhere
Just waiting for you to see
The some-something in me
The some-something in me, yeah
Something in me
I just
Gotta know, do you feel it too
Gotta wonder, if you see me like I see you
Gotta feel you, Yea gotta know
Gotta see, Gotta feel your soul
Some kinetic thing
Some magnetism
Some desire to sing
Someone, Somewhere
Just waiting for you to see
The some-something in me, yeah
Are you looking for that connection
Looking for some direction
Well, look at me, open the door
Look here, look only here, yea look no more
Cause we've got
Some kinetic thing, some magnetism
The some, something you need
Get your some, some, some of me
