i was dating a guy, he was a dad of a young child - but told me the relationship with the mom was over. we went on about 3 or 4 dates, and i was starting to really like him. we were talking on the phone on a friday night and he said his ex was there to drop off their child, and he would call me back. i never heard from him that night, which was ok - i went to bed. i woke up the next day to a big block text from him. i didnt even read it until i got my coffee, lol. he said she wanted to try again, and that he wanted to try. i totallly understood and bowed out and said bye - but it did hurt. i didnt wait long tho, and sure enough, the guy started calling me about 3 weeks later...well i had already moved on by then...i didn't wait.
