from the sayin': never gets old. and it got me thinkin' about what i would love to be feelin' all the time. which led to being on stage, holding my first baby, and being with the love of my life...i bet that feeling never gets old, and you just want to re-live it over and over.

Lyrics
never gets old
I've never had that feeling
That rush, like being on stage
In the spotlight, playing our song
A feeling you just can't fight
Hands in the air, waving and swaying
Energy so big you start believing
You're a shooting star, a firework show, no
I've never had that feeling
But I've been told, and I'll bet it's like being with you
And the feeling never gets old, yeah
With you I feel like screaming
Always got me feeling like I'm riding a roller coaster
On top of the hill, about to go down, yeah
That's the feeling I get whenever you're around
Hands in the air, waving and swaying
Energy so big you start believing
You're a shooting star, a firework show, no
I've never had that feeling
But I've been told, and I'll bet it's like being with you
And the feeling never gets old, yeah
It's that new car you get when you're 16
Or the trophy that you hold up, MVP of the winning team
Holding your baby for the first time or getting that master's degree
Can't fight the feeling, no, I can't keep from feeling like that when you are with me
And I know, yeah, I know, the feeling will never get old
