The One (You Chose)

the one (you chose)

i knew this day would come
i knew you would find her
visualized the setting, the sun, the one
seeing and knowing it is her you prefer

the one you chose
the first time i saw you look at her
the one you chose
your eyes, reflections in my head
the one you chose
the smile, the laugh, the way you held her tight
the one you chose
seeing and knowing it is her you prefer

i wonder what first caught your heart?
what made her the one?
was it her hair, her laugh, her smile,
the way her eyes caught the sun?
her touch, her kiss, her style?
how was your heart won?

the one you chose
your eyes, reflections in my head
the one you chose
when i see you look at her
the one you chose
the smile, the laugh, the way you held her hand,
the one you chose
seeing and knowing it is her you prefer

she is the lucky one
i wonder if she even knows
how close we were
how i prayed for her
i am so thankful for her,
the one you prefer

the one you chose
her eyes, reflections in your head
the one you chose
you dont see me, when you look at her
the one you chose
the words you said
the one you chose
the vows that were read
the one you chose
the one you wed

i knew this day would come
i knew you would find her
visualized the setting, the sun, the one
seeing and knowing it is her you prefer
